Poor man's Defoe. Of we wanted a penalty box finisher that adds little else with no real sell on value should have got Defoe.

I wonder if it's the fact Hernandez is available for 13m that makes him our 'preferred target'?

Owners as transparent as they come.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
£13m is a wet dream for our owners.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Dont fancy this bloke, limitations will be highlighted in our side and is an apparent cunt to boot - must be a more appropriate option out there surely?

Sven Roeder 8:21 Sun Jul 2
Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
He is a goal scorer who knows the Premier league.
I'd take him as one of 3 or 4 strikers

Just think of him as Calleri's replacement and you will feel better.

Surely one of the best goals per minute ratios in world football?

He would be a good start
Apparently Spurs are also in for him

More than good enough for us

Good enough, without a doubt

But not sure he's a good fit

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Would be a great signing. £15m clause meaning we'll start the bidding at £4m though....

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Not £15 million and 1p then ?

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Would be a nice addition to the squad. It would be nice to have someone trying to play of big Andy. We would still need someone with pace as well.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Would be a cracking signing, so obviously won't happen.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Sullivan will start the bidding so low that by the time he comes within spitting distance of the price someone else will have bought him.

likemydreams 12:16 Sun Jul 2
Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
I expect a bid of 8m should do it

Bernie 1:04 Sun Jul 2
Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
It'll be a loan with an option, providing he scores 45 goals

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
We'll do our usual throwing bids around like confetti and hoping we'll get a taker. Sooner they sell up and fuck off the better.

Couldn't land him last summer, will be the same story this summer.

Too young and too fast for us.

Shame Dean Windass has retired. He's our sort of bloke. Cheap and cheerful.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Didn't this little cunt pretty much laugh in our face when we tried to sign him last time?
